OPEN WATER CERTIFICATION

The Open Water Diver course is one of the most important courses in diving and is recognized worldwide. It contains all the basic and necessary information preparing you to be an independent diver and be able to dive without supervision by a diving professional (but with your buddy!). Your certification lasts a lifetime as there are no fees to keep it valid.

Requirements

  • Minimum age: 10 (for Open Water Junior)

  • Certification Requirements: None

  • Number of academic sessions: Online program

  • Number of sessions in the pool / Confined Water: 6

  • Number of Open Water dives: 4

  • Maximum depth for training: 18 meters (age 15+)

  • Recommended duration of the Training Program: 16-32 hours

What is included?

  • All scuba equipment, including: wetsuit, fins, goggles, BCD, regulator, tanks, weights

  • Water and snacks

Do I need to bring anything?

  • A towel

  • Reef-protective sunscreen

  • Tips for the Captain and First Mate (if boat diving is applicable)
