TRY SCUBA DIVING!

The Try Scuba Program (SSI) or Discover Scuba Program (PADI) is your introduction to the underwater world. This entry-level program gives you the opportunity to experience the underwater world without committing to a longer certification program. You can choose to remain in confined water only (like a pool) or dive in open water.  (You must be at least 10 years old to dive in open water.) You will receive a recognition qualification.

• Minimum age: 8 (confined water) or 10 (open water)

• Certification Requirements: None

• Number of academic sessions: 1

• Number of sessions in confined water: 1

• Number of Open Water dives: 0 (confined water only) or 1 (including open water)

• Maximum depth for training: 5 meters (confined water) or 12 meters (open water)

• Recommended duration of the Training Program: None

What is included?

• All scuba equipment, including: wetsuit, fins, goggles, BCD, regulator, tanks, weights

• Water and snacks

Do I need to bring anything?

• A towel

• Tips for the Captain and First Mate (if boat diving is applicable)
